Student members

ACM welcomes student members in high school for a small membership fee. Student members must declare their intention to pursue a degree in computer or electrical engineering or other related computer/information sciece.

Opportunities

ACM and the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) award the Cutler-Bell Prize in High School Computing to recognize talented high school students in computer science. Eligible applicants include graduating High School Seniors residing and attending school in the United States. The challenge will focus on developing an artifact that engages modern computing technology and computer science. Judges will be looking for submissions that demonstrate ingenuity, complexity, relevancy, originality, and a desire to further computer science as a discipline. Up to four (4) winners will each be awarded a $10,000 prize and a trip to the ACM/CSTA Cutler-Bell Prize Reception.
